Delete your account

You can permanently delete your PlantAlarm account and the data we hold about you.

What gets deleted

• Your account (email and Google account identifier)
• All plants, watering schedules, photos, and notes you added
• Your notification preferences

What we keep, and for how long

• Anonymous diagnostic and security logs may be retained for up to 30 days for service reliability and abuse prevention.
• Records we are legally required to keep (for example, for tax or audit) will be retained for the applicable retention period and then deleted.

Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account after deletion.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

1. Open PlantAlarm on your phone.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Confirm the deletion. Your data is removed immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app, email hello@plantalarm.eu from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days, as required by GDPR Art. 17.
